- Is there really no credit card to start the trial?
- Correct. The 14-day trial gives full Team-tier access — every Voice Engine profile, every publishing integration, every word. We email you on day 12 with a one-click path to convert. If you don't convert, the workspace freezes (no data loss for 90 days, in case you change your mind), and we don't charge anything.
- What happens at the end of the trial — auto-charge?
- No. You must explicitly choose a plan and add a payment method. We don't believe in dark-pattern conversion, and our churn rate is healthier for it. About 41% of Team trialists convert to paid within the trial window; the rest come back within 60 days when they have a real deadline.
- Can we add or remove seats mid-cycle?
- Yes, both directions. Adding a seat is prorated to the day you add them. Removing a seat takes effect at the next billing date — we don't refund partial months on annual plans, but we credit the unused portion against your next invoice. Downgrades from Team to Solo require a 7-day notice so you can migrate Voice Engine profiles out.
- Do you use our content to train your models?
- No. Your drafts, briefs, Voice Engine profiles, and publishing targets are used only to power your own workspace. We do not feed customer content into shared model training, and this is contractually stated in our MSA — not just in marketing copy. Enterprise customers on Newsroom can request a custom data residency region on top of this guarantee.
- Is there a free forever plan?
- No — and we'd rather be honest about that than offer a crippled free tier that doesn't actually let you write. Our model is a 14-day full-feature trial, then a paid plan. If the trial is too short for your evaluation cycle, talk to us; we extend trials for content ops teams running a real procurement process, no hard feelings.
- What's your refund policy?
- Cancel within the first 30 days of any annual plan and we'll refund the unused months, no questions. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months on monthly plans — but we also don't bury the cancel button three menus deep.
